The mapping process consisted of two analyses, one quantitative completed in 2021 and one qualitative that concluded at the end of 2022.
The qualitative analysis refined the results of the quantitative analysis, leading to the identification of 6 preliminary vertical priority fields for Smart Specialization (S3):

From the qualitative analysis, it was evident that the following cross-sectoral fields could be considered for further exploration:

> Renewable Resources Energy
> Extended Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)
These identified fields, along with further analysis, will be the focus of the Entrepreneurial Discovery Phase (EDP), which will confirm, integrate, and specify new pathways - the dynamics of creation, interventions, and targeted investments.
